/HOW IT WORKS

OUR PROCESS

  1. STEP 01

    Call for Your Measurement

Phone Aqua Tech at (719) 590-7011. We'll schedule a time for Butch to visit your Colorado Springs home or business to measure your spa and discuss cover options.

  2. STEP 02

    Measure and Choose Options

We measure your existing cover or spa, show you color and material choices, and give you a firm quote right there. No surprises — what we quote is what you pay.

  3. STEP 03

    Hand-Build Your Cover

We craft your custom cover by hand, currently within 2 to 3 days of measurement. You get a cover built to fit perfectly, not a generic off-the-shelf product.

  4. STEP 04

    Deliver and Install

We deliver your new cover, remove your old one, and professionally install everything. We haul away the old cover so you don't have to worry about it.

  5. STEP 05

    Enjoy Your New Cover

We called around and were quoted about $1000 for a new cover for our hot tub. Butch at Aqua Tech not only quoted us much lower, but he makes them by hand! Awesome service; he came out to measure our existing cover and then delivered our new one. He finished the new cover within a week. And it is so beautiful! Makes our old hot tub look brand new. Could not be happier with Butch and Aqua Tech.

Called Butch on Wednesday morning, he was at my house measuring Wednesday afternoon. Says the top will be installed Friday! How can you beat this? I’ll update after install. Update: As briefed, Butch installed the top before lunch on Friday. It looks better than the factory top and he even hauled away the old top! 6 stars if possible. Final edit was to add photos.

Butch and his team made a new hot tub cover to replace our old one which was damaged by the sun and last year's hail storm. We are very pleased with the new custom cover. It fits perfect and the quality seems as good as - or even better - than the original. I would recommend this company above the retail outfits and especially the on line options. Phil

About Hot Tub Cover Maintenance

Common questions and tips from our work with Colorado Springs customers.

How should I clean my hot tub cover myself?
We don't offer cover cleaning, but it's easy to do yourself. A light cleaning every month or two keeps dirt, pollen, and pine debris from breaking down the vinyl. Use mild soap and water rather than harsh household cleaners, which can dry out the material. In Colorado Springs, where UV is strong at altitude, following a cleaning with a vinyl protectant helps slow fading and cracking.
How do I protect my spa cover from Colorado sun?
High-altitude sun is one of the main reasons covers fail early along the Front Range. Keep the cover clean, use a vinyl protectant made for outdoor use, and consider shade from a pergola or umbrella if your spa sits in full sun all day. Check the upper surface regularly for chalky fading or small cracks, which are early warning signs.
Should I clear snow off my hot tub cover?
Yes, when you can do it safely. Heavy snow sitting on a cover for days adds weight that can bend or crack the foam core over time. Use a soft broom or plastic shovel, never a metal edge, and brush snow off rather than scraping. This matters most in higher areas like Monument, Black Forest, and Woodland Park.

Tip

Flip the cover open to let it breathe

Moisture from the spa collects on the underside of a closed cover. Every week or two, open the cover on a dry day and let the underside air out for a bit. This helps limit mildew and slows water from working into the foam. If the underside stays damp or the cover gets heavier over time, call Aqua Tech for an inspection.
